Congress leader Aradhana Mishra has criticized Smriti Irani’s allegations. Responding to her accusations, Aradhana Mishra said, “She has shown her true colors. She raised questions about the dignity of women here, but when there was a case of sexual harassment of two girls in Manipur, Smriti Irani remained silent. Wasn’t that incident shameful enough?”

Meeting between BJP’s Female MPs and Lok Sabha Speaker:

In relation to this matter, BJP’s female MPs have met with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. During the session in Parliament, 20 female MPs of BJP have addressed the Lok Sabha Speaker with a signed complaint letter, demanding stern action against Rahul Gandhi for allegedly displaying disrespectful behavior and breaking decorum during Union Minister Smriti Irani’s address. The complaint letter states, “We would like to draw your attention today in the House towards an incident related to Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi from Wayanad, Kerala. The said member exhibited uncivilized behavior and demonstrated disrespectful conduct towards Central Minister Smriti Irani when she was addressing the House.”

Central Minister Smriti Irani, along with other signatories, including Darshana Jardosh, Annapurna Devi, Rekha Varma, Devshri Chaudhary, Sanghmitra Maurya, Aparajita Sarangi, and Pratibha Bhowmik, have put their signatures on the complaint letter addressed to the Lok Sabha Speaker.
